Need a little Info on a award

Can someone tell us what the Molson player of the year award is all about .Who picks it what do the players get does every team inthe dub get one . I missed the game were it was awarded. I understand Zack Smith got it for the Broncos,when I asked around no one really knew much about it???

In short it means the fans voted Smitty as the player of the year.

basically i think that there is a bin set up in the lobby for fans to vote for thier "favorite" player. and Molson's sponsors the award by presenting a special plaque at a luncheon or something. They do this across the dub from what I have heard. So the Broncos recieve money from molson's to have this "award".
