Looks to me like you spanked them good all year so I don't know why you were worried. Would you rather have had Lethbridge....................I think not.

Other than the one blow out game every game vs the Warriors has been close. I didn't want to face them because Joey P is capable of winning the series by himself imo. As for facing the Canes I knew it wouldn't happen until later in the playoffs so I didn't even think about facing them.

And we chased Pericone twice out of the game. So he is either bad (twice second star, once first) or bad (one period in two games). I just see the Warriors as too undisciplend and will give us too many pp. Now if only our pp clicks like it did on the weekend.

Strengths: Moose Jaw's strength is without a doubt its defensive tandem of Wishart and Ellerby. Dubbed the Twin Towers, the two are tough as nails to play against while also contributing offensively. Wishart led all defencemen in scoring this season while also being capable of playing in a shutdown role. He, along with Devin Setoguchi, was one of the main reasons the Prince George Cougars went on a run in last year's playoffs before losing to the eventual Memorial Cup champion Vancouver Giants in the Western Conference final.

If the Warriors are going to go on a run, they will need overage goaltender Joey Perricone to be exceptional. Perricone is used to playing in tight games as his team isn't high scoring. He has proven he can raise his game in the playoffs as in two years ago he was a key reason behind the Warriors' run to the league finals. He will need to duplicate his performance from the 2006 playoffs this year for Moose Jaw to surprise

Why Moose Jaw Can Surprise: There isn't one team in the WHL that will underestimate the Warriors. Many thought they would move up in the standings after the acquisition of Wishart in particular, but it hasn't come together. Given the top-end talent and playoff experience on this team, Moose Jaw could be downright scary if they can put it together. If they can get a win or two in the first two games of their first round series and gain some confidence, Moose Jaw has the talent to make the 2008 playoffs a memorable one.
