I think the pats can get the job done in 5. Not saying the broncos arent a good club, of course. Just because the series doesnt look close, doesnt mean the games themselves werent close.

We need to stick to our game plan (play 60 minutes), and make the broncos play by our rules, not chasing their fast forwards and expecting to catch them. No run and gun style like what happened last time against medicine hat, because we will get burned. We need to play by our own strengths.

The pats must punish them physically, and take advantage of their defence, which is their weakpoint (at least compared to the other 2 points). Wear them down and they will get tired. We also need some of our guys to step up, as they will obviously target the top line. Eberle is a huge part of the team, but the depth should contribute more as well. Watts line is doing fine, but we need the hill line to play more consistant, and we really need Depape to get going.

Im curious as to what Weal will add to the lineup, if he plays. Sure he is young, but management is really high on this kid. He was WHL ready at the beginning of the season, and ripped it up in AAA, though he is still only 15. He did well in his 2 or 3 games with the team on the US roadtrip, notching an assist.

But anyways, If we can stick to the plan, use our experience to our advantage, and keep them from running the game their way, we could end this series faster than expected. There will be an obvious amount of resistance though, and with emotions flaring, it should be the most exciting series in the conference.

Emotion is what could end it for the Broncos. Pats will play their aggressive, agitating style. The Broncos will have to keep their emotions in check and stay out of the box by taking retaliation penalties if they are to be successful.

I agree if Swift stays away from the after the whistle scuffles and stay out of the box they will beat Regina. After all you can't punish and wear down what you can't catch!

Going to have to keep a leash on Nelson, thats for sure.

As for the SC speed, it depends what first...whether its the broncos getting worn down from the physicality, or the pats not being able to keep up with the broncos speed. Which ever comes first. Because its hard to play at a consistant high tempo when you have taken a beating. And Im sure Regina is going to come out of the gate physical.

Any team can win this series, its just a matter of who comes to play. Theres alot of maybes and ifs, but frankly if you cant make it happen on the ice, thats all it is, just speculation and excuses. SC may have some unfinished business that carries back from last year, but the pats also have alot to prove as well. Its going to come down to who wants it more, and who it willing to pay a heavier price.

Friday better come soon. This is getting very tedious.

He's really fine tuned the role. Still a pest but has really limited his PIMs and his offense has been impressive lately. He didn't play the final game against Moose Jaw. Don't think he's injured probably just a precaution, expect him to be fired up Friday night.
