Paterson Grain ‘Goals for Charity’ Campaign Completed
The Swift Current Broncos and Paterson Grain Ltd., along with Dale Weise and Geordie Wudrick teamed up this season to create the Paterson Grain Goals for Charity Campaign.
For every goal that Dale Weise and Geordie Wudrick scored in the 2007/08 regular season, Paterson Grain donated $100.00 to four local charities, to a maxium of $4,000.00
Weise and Wudrick combined for 49 goals in the 2007/08 regular season, meaning the full $4,000.00 will be donated to the local charities. Kidsport, Southwest Crisis Services, the Cancer Society and Canadian Mental Health are the recipients of this year’s donation.
A special cheque presentatioin will be made at the Broncos first playoff home game on Tuesday, March 25th. The Broncos organization would like to thank Paterson Grain for their support of the Club and the ‘Goals for Charity’ campaign this season.
