The WHL has revealed the Eastern Conference all-star teams and finalists for awards, with the exception of the player of the year. Finalists for that award will be announced April 8. The Western Conference awards finalists will be announced Thursday. The winners along with the WHL Player of the Year will be announced at an awards luncheon in Calgary on April 30. The Eastern Conference all-star teams (asterisk denotes unanimous selection):

EASTERN CONFERENCE ALL-STAR TEAMS

FIRST TEAM

Defenceman – Karl Alzner, Calgary Hitmen *
