I think that for the Nanaimo Warriors to happen they would need to build a privately owned arena. That was tried a few years back and the city wouldn't grant any land use changes to allow a private arena. Right now in BC and especially on the coast our future is being mortaged to pay for something called the 2010 Olympics. The publicly owned arenas we are using now will have to last another 50 years because that is how long it will take to pay down the Olympic debt. vc178
