Cougars Alumni Wins National Championship

Freshman Eric Hunter had an assist today as he and the UofA Golden Bears win the CIS Mens Hockey Championship with a 3-2 win over last years champs the UNB Varsitey Reds.

Ex-Raider, Giant and 'Canes, Aaron Sorochan gets the win between the pipes. This is his 2nd CIS Championship.

Well, I guess that means the U of S didn't beat them on Saturday. :D

That's a real feather in U of A's cap, it said in the Saskatoon Star Phoenix that the Reds were on a 20 game winning streak.
