TONIGHT’S GAME: Tonight is game five of the best of 7 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals between the Swift Current Broncos and the Regina Pats.


The Broncos evened the series at 2 games apiece with a 5-4 double overtime victory on Wednesday night at the Credit Union i-plex…Geordie Wudrick led the Broncos offensively in regulation picking up a pair of goals, while Keegan Dansereau and Levi Nelson also scored…Dale Weise tallied the game winner 7:37 into double overtime…Travis Yonkman recorded the victory in net stopping 34 of 38 shots…The Broncos went 1 for 8 with the man advantage, while the Pats finished 3 for 6…The Broncos outshot the Pats in the contest 39-38…The Broncos finished the regular season with 41 wins and 89 points, for the highest point total since the 2001-02 season, good for 7th place in the Eastern Conference…The Broncos trailed the East Division pennant winners, the Regina Pats, by 5 points.
