TONIGHT’S GAME: The Broncos look to eliminate the Regina Pats tonight in game six of the best of 7 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.


Last night the Broncos took their 1st series edge (3-2) defeating the Pat 6-3 in Regina…Levi Nelson led the Broncos offensively recording a pair of 3rd period goals, while Eric Doyle and Zack Smith both picked up shorthanded markers…Justin Dowling pick up his team leading 4th goal of the post season, while Geordie Wudrick tallied a powerplay empty net goal with second left in the game…Travis Yonkman recorded the victory in net stopping 20 of 23 shots…The Broncos went 1 for 6 with the man advantage, while the Pats finished 1 for 10…The Broncos outshot the Pats by a margin of 27-23…The Broncos finished the regular season with 41 wins and 89 points, for the highest point total since the 2001-02 season, good for 7th place in the Eastern Conference…The Broncos trailed the East Division pennant winners, the Regina Pats, by 5 points.

PLAYOFF NUMBERS: Levi Nelson picked up a pair of goals in last night’s contest and is on a 4 game point streak (3 G, 5 A). Offically a sell out....I was going to drive down for the game but too late....looks like web cast will be my best option....keep it up boyz....just loved the atmosphere after the game... chanting "Pederson", "Keen", and "Switzer" (those are who I heard)....that was freaking awesome...the Bronco fans that were there were Living it lound.
