Prospects Update: Americans Prospects Advance to Telus Cup

KENNEWICK, WA - The Winnipeg Thrashers defeated the Notre Dame Hounds 4 to 3 in double overtime at the Western Canadian Regionals to advance to the Telus Cup in Arnprior, Ontario. The Telus Cup is the Canadian Medget AAA National Championships.
Tri-City prospect Cole Pruden score the game-winning goal to help the Trashers advance. Americans list players on the Thrashers making the trip to the Telus Cup are Robbie Lazo, goaltender Brett Martyniuk and Pruden. Game stars included Martyniuk and Hounds' center Jaden Schwartz, both of whom are Americans list players.
Americans prospects Brooks Macek, Jordan Messier and Schwartz, all of the Notre Dame Hounds, finished in the top-3 in tournament scoring:
