TONIGHT’S GAME: For the first time this post season the Broncos are one loss away from elimination after losing 3-2 to the Hitmen on Wednesday night to fall behind 3-1 in the Eastern Conference semi-final best-of-seven series.
The Hitmen jumped out to a 2-0 lead with power play goals from Paul Postma…Dale Weise cut the lead to 2-1 mid-way through the middle frame with his 5th goal of the post season…The Hitmen however would get their 2 goal lead back just 3 minutes later with a marker from Brett Sonne…David Stieler pulled the Broncos within one goal with his 2nd playoff goal at the 10:13 mark of the 3rd period…The Broncos failed to score on the powerplay in 3 opportunities, while the Hitmen finished 2-5.
