I noticed he started racking up the minus', was he playing poorly or just unfortunate enough to have to be going against the other team's top lines over and over again? There is little doubt the kid has tremendous character, but do you believe he showed improvement this season?

Yeah, he really struggled through the end of the season and the playoffs. Combination of forgetting what got him to where he was and bad luck.

He started the season off great, was scoring, then about
3/4 of the way thru the season, he just kinda disappeared..
not sure what happened to him,he wasn't playing his aggresive
type of hockey, maybe he was hurt, who knows

Yeah, hopefully he can get back to where he was. It was good to see a hard working player like him do well.

For a player who has his skillset he really cannot afford to "forget" his identity. If you are a blue-collar type, which is what he has appeared to be he needs to learn he can't lose that. Like you said, that is what got him there in the first place. Thanks for the heads up.
