Levi Nelson Signs Pro Contract with Boston
The Swift Current Broncos are pleased to announce that 3 year veteran Levi Nelson has signed a 3 year entry level pro contract with the Boston Bruins.
Nelson was originally drafted by the Boston Bruins 158th overall in the 6th round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Nelson played three full seasons with the Swift Current Broncos, appearing in 198 games with 65 goals, 87 assists and 340 penalty minutes. During the 2007-08 regular season with the Broncos, Nelson notched 25 goals, 31 assists, a +23 plus/minus and 152 penalty minutes in 67 games. He also added 7 goals and 8 assists in 12 post season games.
