Former Rebel Bryce Thoma has been hired on as an assistant coach for the Rebels.

Thoma has recently retired from a professional Career that ended in the United Kingdom last year. He was a member of the Rebels from 1999-2003, and part of the 2001 Memorial Cup Championship team.

He should be a welcome addtion to our coaching staff

He was extremely hard-working and as technically sound defensively as any defenseman in the WHL that I can remember. On top of that, he is an extremely nice guy. I can't think of a better man to whip our blueline into shape!
