its disgusting when there's people like that trying to ruin a good thing.

alot of motions being voted on with the vote of 4-2 in favor of moving forward. a taxition of 9.5 % has been approved and the city is approving a 35 million portion to the rink. which in toll will be 19 million more then what we voted on. as things progress it is looking like the warriors are alive in moose jaw but after tonight things could still get ugly..

vote of 4-2 the rink will go forward, the warriors are safe in moose jaw for now... bussinesses are stepping up and accept helping out, soccer, curling and the temple spa are willing to help and donate money for the rink... congradulations to coucinl who voted and to the moose jaw warriors ... hopefully the hang over of this wont be to bad nor negative to the warriors.. massive support in favor of the club right now.....

"Multiplex Goes Downtown!


We can now quit calling it the "proposed" Moose Jaw Multiplex.

Moose Jaw City Council took the recommendations and made a decision on Monday night. They have voted in favour of a downtown multiplex which will include new facilities for hockey and curling. An indoor soccer facility will be part of the project but will be built at a different location. The soccer facility will go on Thatcher Drive in the Hamilton Flats area of the city.

The project's price tag is pegged at about $61,000,000.

City council is also approving a 9% increase to the municipal portion of property taxes. Owners of an average home in our city will see an increase of about $90 per year.

We'll have much more on this story in the coming hours and, for reaction from several community leaders, tune in 800 CHAB, Country 100 - 100.7 FM and Mix 103 - 103.9 FM on Tuesday."
