Bison Men’s Hockey Team Recruits Warriors Alumni Terrance Delaronde

The University of Manitoba Bison men’s hockey team is pleased to announce the commitment of former Moose Jaw Warriors Terrance Delaronde to the Bison program for the upcoming season.

Delaronde, 21, dressed for the Tribe during the 2007-08 season and was a true leader on the ice. The Winnipeg native had 37 points (17 goals, 20 assists) with 117 penalty minutes in 70 regular season games plus two points in six playoff games with the Warriors. Prior to Moose Jaw, the 6’1”, 197 lbs. left winger played with Kamloops Blazers for two-and-half seasons from 2004-05 to 2006-07 and accumulated 45 points (22g, 23a) with 359 PIMs in 169 regular season games. He started with Regina Pats as a 17 year and had four points in 19 games in 2004-05. Delaronde was the Warriors’ assistant captain and recipient of Warriors’ Humanitarian and Mark MacKay Hustle & Desire Award. With the Blazers, he was named team’s Community Service winner in 2005-06 and Grinder of Year in 2006-07.

“I am very excited with the opportunity with Manitoba and feel it is an honour to come back home and compete for a championship and want to continue the proud tradition of the Bisons,” stated Delaronde.

The Moose Jaw Warriors Hockey Club and its fans wish Terrance the best of luck with the University of Manitoba Bison men’s hockey team and look forward to watching his hockey career continues to develop.
