They are not going to replace him. For now they are going to try to use a part time goaltending consultant.

You probably already know that the canes will use Jamie on a part time basis. I don't know why your asking.

I would agree that he would be okay as a consultant. However, I for One think that this is a short term solution. It is very obvious that goaltending coachs do make a difference, and simply watching video and sending in solutions does not work . Similar to any other postion you need A specialist who is working on a one on one basis in every practise to address improvement . Last year both goaltenders improved under Battahs direction but the one area , I think their games need to improve on is stickhandling in the quick pass up the ice to an open winger or d-man when under pressure.THESE ARE THE FINE POINTS THAT NEED ADDRESSING DAILY which a goaltending coach brings.

Are you serious that he is going to be a part time goalie consultant for Lehtbridge?
