Ex-Kelowna Rockets forward Brady Leavold will attend the Tampa Bay Lightning's prospect camp on July 26 at Victoria's Bear Mountain Resort (developed by owner Len Barrie).

Leavold finished his season with the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL. Rumour has it that he just signed an AHL contract with Tampa's AHL farm team in Norfolk VA.

Steven Stamkos, this June's first overall pick at the NHL entry draft in Ottawa, will also be in Victoria. As will Torrie Jung.

The Norfolk Admirals have signed former Rocket forward Brady Leavold to an AHL Standard Player's Contract for the 2008-09 season, Admirals General Manager Mike Butters announced today.
