New addition to protected list

With the roster getting a little smaller and faster, it sounds like the Rebs are looking to add a bit of toughness to the roster next season with the addition of SJHL heavyweight Tony "Rockpile" Oak to their protected list. Should be an entertaining team should he make it, if nothing else!

Oak was originally drafted by PA, was dropped by PA (didn't make it to the main camp as a 16 yr old), then as a 17 yr old went to N Battleford, SJHL. Kid has great heart, but skates like he's in quicksand.

From the article I read, it doesn't sound like they picked him up to win races. ;)
