Silvertips Hire Two Scouts
Ex-'Tip Creuer becomes first former player to join hockey operations
Everett Silvertips Press Release

Everett, WA - Vice President / General Manager Doug Soetaert announced Thursday that the Silvertips have hired Bil La Forge and Jeremy Creuer to the club's scouting department, giving the club ten scouts spread across the Western U.S. and Canada.

La Forge joins the Silvertips after leaving the Sherwood Park Flyers, where he served as Head Coach of their Bantam AAA team. He will be responsible for scouting the Edmonton area and northern Alberta.

Creuer, the first former Silvertip to accept a position within the club's hockey operations staff, will be responsible for scouting southern Saskatchewan. He played in twenty games for the Silvertips in 2004-05 before his career was cut short due to a concussion, tallying one goal while accumulating 27 penalty minutes. Jeremy recently graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, where he received his teaching certificate.

They join the scouting staff that includes Wayne Dougherty (Alberta), Ed Friesen (British Columbia), Rick McCaig (Manitoba), Justin Reynolds (Alberta), Garry Ryhorchuk (Saskatchewan), Doug Sinclair (Manitoba) and Scott Sparkman (British Columbia). Director of Player Development Scott Scoville also scouts for the club and is based in Calgary, AB.
