Hawks down an O/A
Overage forward Tyler Swystun has decided not to report to the Hawks camp. No word on what Swystun's 08-09 hockey plans are but he should have some value around the league if the Hawks were interested in trading him.
Two Kootenay Ice roster notes as well, courtesy of Ice beat writer Jeff Bromley's blog. Overage defenceman Zach Sim has apparently decided not to play in the WHL this year and will instead try to crack the University of Saskatchewan's team. And 19 year old journeyman forward Josh Gionfriddo will not attend the Ice camp either, instead choosing to try Jr A in the BCHL.
