The tournament is well underway here at Servus Credit Union Place in St. Albert AB.
The Pats and Tigers just finished their matchup, and the Broncos and Kings are set to go later on at 7 PM.
A few details on the first game....Regina beat Medicine Hat 6-4. 17-year old Kyle Mulder scored a hat trick for the Pats....also getting goals for Regina were Thomas Hricina, Brett Leffler, and Victor Bartley. Mike Forsyth, Matt Frazee, Joey Frazer, and Tristan King replied for the Tigers. It was quite an entertaining contest, featuring two great tilts.

I had a great day in Calgary yesterday! Thanks to my employer, who graciously allowed me to take the day off and the Nelsons in Calgary, for a nice overnight stay. The trip up to Edmonton was a bit of a test...despite the brigade of traffic on #2 highway on this long weekend Saturday, I made it up here just fine.
