WHL This Week - Radio Edition is a weekly look around the Western Hockey League with host Jon Keen. The show is available each week on the Website and heard around the League in team radio broadcasts.
The WHL opens its 43rd Regular Season on Thursday, September 18th as the Memorial Cup Champion and WHL Champion Spokane Chiefs begin defense of their titles in Cranbrook, British Columbia against the Kootenay Ice. Jon Keen had a chance to catch up with WHL Commissioner Ron Robison to get his thoughts on the upcoming season.
Mr. Keen also had the opportunity to speak with the three General Managers from Clubs who have officially bid to host the 2010 MasterCard Memorial; the Brandon Wheat Kings’ Kelly McCrimmon, the Everett Silvertips’ Doug Soetaert and the Kelowna Rockets’ Bruce Hamilton.
