Apparently Clark was a tired puppy after returning from Vancouver's camp, and Kuemper will get the start in the season opener.

What about Kevin Woodyatt is he still with the team. Is he going to see any time this weekend. Or did they assign him to a midget team.

I think the only way they are going to Re-assign Woodyatt is if they plan on or end up playing Wray back on the point a lot this season. There are some injury questions with a few of our defensemen that would make it tough to re-assign him.

Actually, I was told last night by a billet mom that Woodyatt has been re-assigned.

I didnt see anything official, but that is the word on the street.

I think I heard or read somewhere that if he didn't play for the Rebels this season, that he would be playing midget hockey in Red Deer. If that were the case, he would make for a quick emergency call up in case of injury.
