Update Tomorrow...Weise Keeps it Up

The Broncos announced a last season budget surplus of nearly $90,000 tonight at their Annual General Meeting. More on that tomorrow...

Dale Weise played for the Rangers tonight in an exhibition game at MSG against the Ottawa Senators. Zack Smith did not play for the Sens in this one.

Weise was on the ice for the Rangers winning goal sporting #83. By all accounts he played a physical game and threw some big hits while playing on the 4th line.
This is from the newyorkrangers.com...

"Another youngster up front, 20 year-old Dale Weise, also made an impression by throwing several big hits in all three zones of the ice. Weise finished with six hits in 12:12 worth of ice time, second only to Girardi, who was credited with nine hits."

The Rangers dressed a veteran line-up with players like Markus Nasland, Petr Nedved, Scott Gomez and Wade Redden.

More tomorrow including an interview with the oldest player in the WHL... any ideas?

Have a good night,

Jon
