Well they posted the rosters for tonight's exhibition game, and he's not on the roster for this game. You would think if they're considering the kid, that they would insert him into the line-up? Hopefully the Blue Jackets are highly considering sending him to junior.

Most teams have split squads and I would probably guess he will play tomorrow and either Friday or Saturday before they make a decision.

He played in their last game. NHL teams usually rotate those guys in and out of the line-up in the preseason.

Luebke's blog had the following on him after the preseason game in which he did play (which Vik referred to above):

Mayorov Struggles Wheat Kings Gain?
Maksim Mayorov (left) is apparenting struggling with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Wheat Kings took a flyer on the 19-year old Russian in the CHL Import Draft and his current struggles could actually improve the chances of seeing him in a Brandon uniform this season.
Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch has more on Mayorov here...http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/sports/stories/2008/09/25/jackets25.ART_ART_09-25-08_C1_GKBE163.html?sid=101
On a related note, the Blue Jackets assigned seven players to their AHL affiliate in Syracuse today and released five other players but Mayorov was not among them.
