Former Broncos' defenseman Michael Wilson, has signed a 2-year AHL deal with the San Jose Sharks' AHL affiliate, the Worcester Sharks.
I was able to get in contact with "Willy" briefly a few hours ago, and he confirmed that this is fact.
"I am very excited to get this opportunity. I would like to send a big thank you to everyone back in Swifty for everything...especially the Bronco fans," Wilson said.
First up for Mike is an exhibition matchup tomorrow night versus the Hartford Wolf Pack, and former Bronco Dale Weise! It's safe to say he is stoked for that.
Wilson scored 6 goals and added 41 assists for 47 points with the Broncos last season as a 20-year-old.
