Karl didn't crack the Caps opening roster and has been sent down to Hershey.

The Caps have recalled Karl and he will make his NHL debute tonight vs the Thrashers. Congrats to Karl.

An impressive debute for Karl. He led all Caps defenceman in icetime at just over 21 minutes.

Karl recorded his first NHL point on Dec. 4 vs the Islanders but tonight Karl has scored his first NHL vs the Maple Leafs and Vesa Toskala. Congrats to Karl!
