KHL player dies on bench

Alexei Cherepanov the NYR 1st round draft pick dies today in the 3rd period of his teams game at age 19. A highly touted Russian player who had broke Pavel Bure's Rookie scoring record in the KHL. Another huge blow to another NHL team but even a bigger blow to his family, friends and teammates.

Just goes to show that at any moment our time could come.


My prayers go out to his family and friends..

Just a sad and tragic story. Another young hockey player loses his life it really makes you treasure every moment.
