When we first got him last year, I thought the Chilliwack fans were a bit harsh for calling him that, but many months later, I can see how he got the name - coughing up the puck, caught out of position, taking stupid penalties.

Yeah Im glad he's gone! Even though Erb will likely be out for another 2 weeks or maybe more, McCue is just a liability out there. The Tigers are not going to love him thats for sure. This will be his 4th team in his career and ive heard the same from every fan that he just gives the puck away and is simply a liability out on the ice taking dumb penalties at crucial times. How he ever got an NHL camp invite is beyond me! Good luck with this guy

Good toughness, size and reach. The nickname comes from the fact that he has a habit of not looking or thinking and throwing the puck in places that can make a coach go crazy.
