Head To Head:
This is the second meeting of the season between the Pats and the Rebels. The first match-up came October 5th, as the Pats won in a shoot-out 2-1. Damien Ketlo got his first ever Western Hockey League win stopping 28 of 29 shots, Matt Strueby scored the lone Pat goal while Jordan Weal scored the shoot-out winner. Pats specialty teams saw the power play go 0 for 5, while they killed 6 of their 7 penalties.

Last Game:
It was a wild night at Rexall Place on Wednesday in a 7-5 pat win over the Oil Kings. Thomas Hricina scored his first and second goals in his young WHL career. Also hitting the scoreboard was Jordan Weal, Jordan Eberle, Garrett Mitchell and Matt Strueby. Damien Ketlo got, and won his second start of the season, stopping 20 of 25 shots. The power play went 1 for 5, while the penalty kill took it on the chin, as the Kings went 3 for 10

Road Trip:
The front part of the schedule has been very friendly to the Pats. Six of their first nine games have been at the friendly confines of the ‘Dome, getting points in all six of their matchups (3-0-1-2).

Tonight is the third of a 4 game road trip through the Central Division, and the road hasn’t been very kind to the Pats to begin the season, with losses in Brandon (season opener), Prince Albert and in Lethbridge on Thanksgiving Monday. Other than their win at Rexall Place on Wednesday, the blue and white won on the road 4-2 at Westman Communications Group Place in Brandon, this came on Oct. 4th.

When the four game trip through the central Division is over, the Pats will have a lengthy 5 game home stand, beginning Tuesday night against the red hot Saskatoon Blades.
