[1] Nathan Fournier: He's been been hyped since he was 14. The OHL let him play at 15. A weakness of his is skating.
[2] Nathan Fournier: The 6'7 defenseman has made a push for the number one spot. Tavaras and him are 1a and 1b. This will be a two horse race for the number 1 selection. He was a top defenseman at the WJC this past year.
[3] Nathan Fournier: Cowen was the number 1 selection in the 2006 Bantam Draft. As a 16 year old he was solid. He didn't look out of place in the Memorial Cup.
[4] Elit Prospects: An offensive type of player that skates very well, has fine technical skills, excellent hockey sense and a nose for the net. Pääjärvi is very dangerous one-on-one and also a gifted playmaker, although his sniper instinct is more obvious. Pääjärvi always puts up a lot of points. Needs to improve his defensive game as well as work ethic.
[5] Nathan Fournier: Another highly touted player from the OHL. He was slated to go to Michigan State in 2009 until Brampton selected him in the 2007 OHL Draft. He didn't look out of place at the U-18s.
[6] Nathan Fournier: Hockey world, here's the Schenn brothers. Luke Schenn was drafted by Toronto last Friday. The younger Schenn had an unbelievable year. Dominated the U-17s and held his own at the U-18s
[7] Nathan Fournier: Cape Breton selected him in the 3rd round in the 2007 QMJHL Draft. They weren't expecting much from him this year but he had other plans. He was the go to guy at the end of the year last year.
[8] Nathan Fournier: A player that has been hyped up from Finland. He played at the Jr. A level last year but should make the men's team this year. He was very good at all international events.
[9] Nathan Fournier: Schroeder has been the most hyped up American since Phil Kessel. Just like Kessel, he was dominate at the WJCs a year before the draft. Next year will be a big year when he attends Minnesota.
[10] Nathan Fournier: Panik made a late season run and is the best Slovakian prospect in a while. He was the best player for Slovakia at the U-18s. He should be a regular in the Extraliga next year if he doesn't come over to play in the CHL.
[11] Nathan Fournier: Morin tore up the NAHL and found his way on the U18 team. The scoring didn't stop against NCAA teams and at the U18s. He hasn't made a college commitment, so don't be surprised if he suits up for the Kitchener Rangers this year.
[12] Nathan Fournier: Kadri had a very good year with a deep Kitchener Rangers. The Rangers would be all set with Kadri next year. The only problem is he was the player to be named later in the Steve Mason trade. He will be a London Knight next year
[13] Nathan Fournier: Tomas Vincour is from the Czech Republic but played in the WHL last year. The Oil Kings are in a building stage. Next year he should have a big year.
[14] Nathan Fournier: He was the first selection in the 2007 OHL Draft. He's a playmaker and should have more responsiblities next year.
[15] Nathan Fournier: Kuchin as been talked about in Russia for a whle now. This year there has been rumbling that has an attitude problem
[16] Nathan Fournier: You would think with the numbers he put up this year he was a 1st round selection. Well he was selected in the second round. He's an offensive defenseman and dominated at all levels.
[17] Nathan Fournier: No relation to Patrick Kane. Put up decent numbers on a very good Vancouver Giants. Next year should be his break out year.
[18] Nathan Fournier: Haula isn't on the same level as Rajala. The numbers at the Jr A level don't standout but against 16 and 17 year olds he should his offensive capablities.
[19] Eliteprospects: A huge and strong defenseman. Mylläri enjoys pretty physical and aggressive. He has very good hockey sense and controls the puck with ease. Good at setting up plays and very solid in his own end. Has some offensive skills as well. Could improve his acceleration and mobility.
[20] Nathan Fournier: He was one of three 1st rounders that Rimouski selected in 2006. He's a late 90 birthdate and with Rimouski hosting the Memorial Cup, Caron should put up some numbers.
[21] Eliteprospects: Josefsson is a highly skilled center. He plays a strong two-way game is very all-round. Hockey sense is excellent and skating ability and technical skills are very good. Nice creativity with the puck and a skilled playmaker and decent goal scorer. Makes smart decisions and plays a mature game. Gets involved in the rough stuff and has pretty good timing in his hits.
[22] Nathan Fournier: Elliott is an offensive defenseman. He should add more weight to his 175lb frame.
[23] Nathan Fournier: Despres was the 1st overall selection the 2007 Q Draft. He had a very good rookie year. He's a defensive defenseman.
[24] Nathan Fournier: A highly touted player coming into the 2007 Q Draft but made it clear he was going the NCAA route. He out grew the Midget competition this year. He still had a very good U17s. Next year he will be in the USHL.
[25] Nathan Fournier: He was on a very good Roseau team so his numbers show that. Next year will be a challenge as he's on the Fargo Force who are an expansion team.
[26] Nathan Fournier: Another highly touted defenseman from the Kelowna Rockets. They had Luke Schenn and Tyler Myers go in the first round in 2008. Barrie is on the small side at 5'9.
[27] Nathan Fournier: Cizikas is a playmaker at 5'11 and 176lbs. Should have a bigger year as he turns 17.
[28] Nathan Fournier: Maxwell had a vey good year after his year got off to a slow start. He was one of the best goalies at the U17s and U18s. He will be with the NTDP for oe more year.
[29] Nathan Fournier: Another player that was involved in the Steve Mason trade. He showed what he can do when he got away from the Kitchener Rangers depth.
[30] Eliteprospects: A very smart two-way player with excellent hockey sense. Lander reads the game well and makes mature decisions with and without the puck. Plays with plenty of intensity and is skilled offensively.
