thunderbird fans i hope you know how lucky you are to watch o'brien and hickey. they are dangerous everytime they are on the ice. easily the two best players for seattle last night.
2-1 shootout win for the blades last night to jump back into first place. the penalty kill was excellent again for saskatoon killing off all of seattle's power plays. the blades powerless play was shutout again. the blades could make things easier for themselves if the pp got on track.
holtby had a shaky start in net, but was solid for the rest of the game. we've seen some pretty good 16 year old goaltenders this year, lanigan with edmonton and last night seattle's pickard.
great seeing saskatoon winning more on home ice, and still winning even with hamilton and toomey out.
big games this weekend against spokane and swift current.
