Funny thing is, we do not have a pure goal scorer. This is teamwork at its finest.

This is very true and I am finally glad to see the team on that list because they do deserve this type of recognition. Hopefully they can go for win #18 tonight.

I never understand the love Calgary gets. As if they are better than Vancouver. Friggin Golden Franchise.

I am glad to see Saskatoon in there though. I remember the beatdown the Canes put on your team last year during the Teddy Bear game. Glad to see that your fortunes have turned around. Send some of that good fortune our way.

While I completely agree that Vancouver should be ahead of Calgary, the reason why they're not is probably pretty simple: Calgary has more points (only because they've played more games) and thus are ahead in the standings.

You can be sure that the scouts that vote on this thing haven't seen every team on the list and are probably just looking at the standings when voting on teams outside of the area they work in.

Personally I don't give a rats behind about these rankings because of the obvious problems they have in accurately judging teams in all three leagues. I mean, they had Prince George in the top ten earlier this year. Being on a short hot streak (which the Cougars were to start the year) should not get a team onto this list. Anyone who took five minutes and studied the Cougars roster would know they weren't going to be one of the top teams in the CHL. But they were up high in the standings briefly and that's all it took for some clueless voters to put them on the list.

i love the show of respect putting saskatoon in the top ten, i'm not going to get too excited about it, because really it means nothing. no points in the standings, or goals on the scoreboard.

what it really means is the secret is out, the blades believed to be a leftover at the start of the season, are for real.

holtby is as good as any elite goalie in the whl like tokarski, pickard, or jones.

the blades defense is as good as any in the league.

the forwards are getting it done by committee and without two thirds of the second line.

other teams are saying the blades play as close to a pro style game as any team in the league. meaning opponents have to work hard for shots, and a lot of those are limited to the outside.

is is bad for me to cling to a sliver of hope gillies will come back?

don't let this news go to your heads blades, the hard work has only begun, now that the secret is out, there's no sneaking up on anybody.
