Rebels would make this game a 1-0 affair early on, on a shot from the slot by Cody Esposito. And it would remain so after 20.

The second period was pretty sloppy by both teams, and there didn't appear to be a lot of energy out there overall. Ferraro would make it 2-0 on a strange one that Bosch actually ended up roofing on himself while trying to deflect the puck with his arm. Broda would make it 2-1, tapping it into the empty net on a beautiful cross-ice feed.

In the 3rd, the teams would trade goals to make it 3-2, and Ferraro would end up with the empty netter at the end of the game to make it 4-2.

What/who I liked in this game

Cody Esposito - Hey! It was the Cody Esposito from training camp in this one! Scores the first goal on a nice shot from the slot, and was really throwing his weight around out there, particularly in the 3rd.

Carter Smith - Always seems to step it up for his old team, and really had a lot of hustle and always seemed to be right in the thick of things all night.

Tommi Kivisto and Alex Petrovic - Really our only 2 consistent defensemen last night. Kivisto skated a lot more with the puck than he has, and Petrovic was solid defensively.

Steve Oursov - Won some races for the puck, and almost deflected a pair of goals past Bosch while crashing the net.

Joel Broda + Jason Bast - Really seems to be a big gap in talent on this Moose Jaw team between these two and the rest of the team.

Ian Duval - Had probably the most energy and best work ethic of any of the Warriors last night.

Who/what I didn't like last night

Colin Archer - He made some smart passes out there last night, but he also made a number of bad ones, and missed a lot of big hits that created odd-man rushes (particularly on Broda's first goal).

Dylan McIlrath - Tons of turnovers, including setting up Smith's goal, and a lazy penalty when the game was close to take them out of the game. He is only 16 though, it will happen.

Line Changes - Very very sloppy by both teams last night. Moose Jaw even played for 10-15 seconds during the 4-4 with 5 players.
