The Hitmen return to the Saddledome tonight against the Bruins. Its the first game without Brett Sonne, who is at World Jr Camp. The game is on the fan tonight if you can't make it to the game.

Hitmen win their 11 straight home game tonight, 3-1 over the Bruins. The game was fairly close despite the Hitmen controlling the game after the first period. Friesen was good for the Bruins and Michael Snider made some good saves for the Hitmen.

I would be interested in hearing what Hitmen fans have to say about the Bruins squad they faced tonight. The Bruins have been hammered with injuries and saddled with dealing with top players not returning this season.

This year the Bruins are all about youth (I think the youngest in the league) and developing an inexperienced team; after a rocky start to the season and a lot of losses they seem to be playing better of late, despite not getting the results in the W column.

Calgary is one of the stronger teams in the league and it sounds like the Bears put forth a good effort against a premier team... Opinions?

I would have to agree with coach Lowry, the Bruins came out strong and the Hitmen came out flat. Fresein was superb and they show some promise of good thingd to come.
