The Swift Current Broncos concluded their west coast road trip with a 4-2 record after defeating the host Chilliwack Bruins 3-0 on Wednesday.

One night after the Vancouver Giants torched the Broncos in an 8-1 win Mark Guggenberger picked up his second shutout of the campaign with 35 saves to improve his season record to 11-10-0-0.

Cody Eakin, Keegan Dansereau, and Matt Tassone scored for the Broncos who were outshot 35-21.

Dansereau scored his team leading 19th goal while on the powerplay, followed by Tassone's 18th. Eakin's goal was his third in as many games after missing nearly a month with an ankle injury.

The win improved the Broncos to 21-15-0-1 heading into the holiday break in second spot in the East Division.

The Bruins remain last in the B.C. Division with a 10-22-2-2 record.

Next action for the Broncos will be Dec. 27th in Medicine Hat.

Why is everyone saying they went 4-2 on their west coast road swing? They went 4-1. Last time I looked at a map Edmonton wasn't on the west coast or in BC. vc1tt
