PATS PLAYER HURT IN ACCIDENT
REGINA -- Regina Pats forward Kyle Ross suffered a broken back in an automobile accident during the weekend, the WHL team said yesterday.
Ross, 18, whose condition is not life threatening, will be transferred to a Regina hospital. The mishap occurred outside Vermillion, Alta.
Ross, a native of Regina, won the Kartusch Family Award as his team's humanitarian of the year this season.
