New captain?

With Tyrell out for the season do they replace him as captain? I am unfamiliar with the situation but do players who are injured stay with their teams and go on road trips or do they just go home? If that's the case they will need some leadership in the locker room and on the ice. I cannot think of anyone that would make a good replacement for Tyrell so I am curious to see which direction they take if that's what they decide to do.

I think it may depend on the situation and where Dana will get the best medical care and rehab. I have seen injured players with halos stay with the team and attend games though. Since Dana was known to be a captain that led by example and wasn't highly vocal, I don't know how effective he would be. I guess he could still be an strong example just with his presence.
