The Hitmen look to run their winning streak to 10 tonight vs the Ice. Should be an interesting week or so as we near the trade deadline. The game is online only today.

The Hitmen knock off the Ice tonight 2-0. The Ice took 5 penalties in the first only to be down 1-0. In the second, the Hitmen took 3 penalties but the Ice couldn't score. The Hitmen sealed the game with Rowinski putting a puck into the empty net. 10 straight wins for the Hitmen but this one could be costly as Bortis left in the 3rd period with what might be a knee injury according to Curle and Thrower. If this is a serious injury I would think the Hitmen would be looking at Joel Broda from the Warriors as a trade deadline pick up. It would not surprise me if Ryan Fox has a new home next week.
