Eakin's stock rises

I was looking at the newest rankings from Central Scouting today. Before the Top Prospects game, Bronco forward Cody Eakin was ranked 52nd in just North America for the upcoming draft. That was not including Europeans. Since his show at the Top Prospects game he has climbed in the rankings and is now ranked 36th in the world. Congrats Cody.

Cody is the complete package. He is as good off of the ice as he is on. At his current ranking he is a steal of a deal. Unfortunately he has lost a number of games due to injury and hasn't seen the type of ice he needs. He merely scratched the surface at the prospects game, there he played with top players who were playing with heart and desire. He is a franchise player who comes every night to compete and play. No need to look or to rotate C's next year - its right in front of us.
