KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans Governor/General Manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has signed 15-year-old forward Max Moline to a standard WHL Players Contract. Moline was selected by Tri-City in the fifth round (110th overall) in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft.

With the addition of Moline, the Americans have now signed their top three draft picks from the 2008 Draft.

A product of Lethbridge, AB, Moline attended the Americans' rookie camp earlier this season. After collecting a goal for Team White in the Todd Klassen Classic and a solid performance during camp, Moline earned an invite to Tri-City's main camp. Currently, the 6'3, 170 pound center is playing for the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Southern Alberta Midget Hockey League. In 15 games for the Hurricanes this season, Moline has collected eight goals and 21 points.

"Max has had a very good season this year. We were impressed with his training camp in August and he has continued to improve all season," Tory explained. "We are excited to have Max join our organization and to compete for a spot on our roster next season."

The Americans return to the ice for a double-header weekend. This Friday, January 30, Tri-City will travel to the Rose City to take on the Portland Winter Hawks. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum. Then, the Americans return home on Saturday, January 31 for a match-up with the B.C. Division's Chilliwack Bruins. Game time is 7:05 p.m. at Toyota Center. Tickets are available through all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Toyota Center box office, all Fred Meyer outlets, or online at ticketmaster.com.
