The Hitmen look to win their 3rd straight game tonight as they return home and host the Ice. The Hitmen have 36 more points than the Ice but the Ice really play well against the Hitmen. They seem to clog up the neutral zone very well and prevent the Hitmen from gaining any speed before entering the Ice zone. The game is on the radio tonight starting at 5 Calgary time.

It was a hard fought game for the Hitmen tonight but in the end franchise records fell and the Hitmen beat the Ice. Paul Postma's 20th goal of the season set all kinds of Hitmen records. 1. Postma now has the most goals by a Calgary defenceman in one season. 2. Postma has scored in 5 straight games, no other dman has done that. 3. The Hitmen now have 7-20 goal scorers and with Stone having 16 and Schultz at 15 there is a good chance for that number to increase to 9 and possibly 10 if Seabrook scores 7 more.

Glad to see we opened it up in the third. Interesting that Foxy said he asked for a trade 2 weeks before the dealine. Postma continues to shine. yeehoo

well Fox wasnt really being played much by Lowry, hes a great kid and best of luck to him..

I was shocked to here that Lieuwen is out with a concussion, does anyone know when this occured?

Great effort tonight for the Hitmen. Did anyone else notice how many times Broda fanned on his shots?, geez..

Fox showed a lot of class in his post game interview. Good for him and hopefully he has a great season next year (along with the rest of this year). He wasn't about to get much ice time here so a move was the best for him. He had a good game and showed what the hitmen initially saw in him. Possibly will hit 25 goal next year, especially if he sticks to the #1 line & pp. As far as Foucault is concerned he seems to have more confidence in his own ability than Fox does. I base this on a previous post game interview where Foucault kept insisting he was a go-to player who is more of a skill player than a crasher. His whole interview he showed a lot of confidence in being a big time scorer. No shortage of confidence and when he plays on a top line shows this. This trade will go down as a win-win for both teams and both players. Good luck in Kootenay Ryan (although you officially join former Hitmen Eric Frere as part of the "Kootenay Sucks" team)
