Silvertips' prospect Ryan Murray named Saskatchewan Midget 'AAA' WHL Star of the Month

The Saskatchewan Midget AAA League is please to announce that White City native Ryan Murray from the Moose Jaw Warriors has been named the Star of the Month for the month of January. Ryan is a 15 year old rookie defenceman and currently sits 3rd in points on his team. Over 38 games he has accumulated 12 goals and 25 assists with only 12 minutes in penalties. During the month of January he had 6 goals and 8 assists and received 3 game stars in 8 games played in his team’s 4 win and 4 loss month.
Murray was the Everett Silvertips first pick (9th overall) at the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft. The Saskatchewan Midget AAA League and Ryan wish to thank the WHL for their continued sponsorship.
