The Brandon Wheat Kings have received some good
medical news as they prepare for the final week of the 2008-2009 Western Hockey League regular season.
17-year old right-winger Scott Glennie, who hasn't played since breaking his left elbow during a game against the Hitmen in Calgary on January 31st, has been given clearance to rejoin the team this week.
A former second round draft choice of the Wheat Kings, the 6'1" 183 lb. Winnipeg product was tied for sixth place in league scoring when he suffered the injury five weeks ago.
In 52 games this season, Glennie has 66 points including 27 goals.
During his two years in Brandon, he has 53 goals and 125 points in 112 games.
