Everett's confirmed home playoff dates: Wednesday, March 25th; Friday, March 27th

Everett, WA - The Western Hockey League confirmed Monday afternoon that the dates and times of the Everett Silvertips' first round playoff series against the Tri-City Americans have been set. The best-of-seven series, which will open at the Toyota Center in Kennewick, WA on Friday, March 20th, will return to Everett's Comcast Arena for two games, held on Wednesday, March 25th, and Friday, March 27th. Game six, if necessary, would be played at Comcast Arena on Monday, March 30th. Everett will enter the WHL Playoffs as a #7 seed, while Tri-City enters as the #2 seed as the U.S. Division Champions.
The games on Wednesday, March 25th and Monday, March 30th will begin at 7:05 pm, while the Friday, March 27th game will begin at 7:35 pm.
This is the second playoff series between the U.S. Division rivals. The Silvertips defeated the Americans four games to one in the 2006 postseason behind three goals and three assists from center Zach Hamill. Despite a 2-7-1-0 record against Tri-City this season, Everett holds an all-time record of 27-25-3-1-3 in the regular season series, including a record of 17-9-0-0-3 at Comcast Arena.

The Silvertips close out the home portion of the regular season with Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, March 14th, as they take on the Chilliwack Bruins at 7:05 pm.
