Swift Current Broncos defenseman John Negrin will join the Calgary Flames AHL affiliate Quad City Flames.
Negrin, a 3rd round choice by Calgary in the '07 NHL entry draft will join the Flames affiliate Wednesday. Negrin has also been awarded the Broncos Myers Norris Penny Playoff MVP award for his contribution to the Broncos this post-season.
This now makes four former Ice players on Quad Cities roster, the others are Adam Cracknell, Brett Sutter, and Brad Cole. Negrin joined the Flames last year after the Ice were eliminated from the playoffs.
