Merchandise Store :

http://www.wheatkings.com/store/OrderMain.aspx

The store is located in the main concourse on the North side of the arena. You must keep your ticket to enter the concourse once you've entered the arena and vice versa. The store carries Brandon Wheat King merchandise along with small merchandise from other teams including mini sticks, lapel pins, pucks etc.

Game Day Programs :

They are handed out before every game at every main entrance but if you arrive late then you might be out of luck. These programs feature both the Wheat Kings roster and visiting teams roster, arcticles about the Wheat Kings, a player profile and more.

Concession Booths :

There are 2 concession booths located on the East and West side along with one in the main concourse to the North. At these booths you will find anything from nachos, drinks, candy, etc. If it's popcorn you are looking for there are also two popcorn booths located on the East and West sides. If you forgot to have supper and are looking for something to fill you up, there is a booth located in the South East corner that serves hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries etc. Also there is a Pizza Hut booth in the South West corner that serves small pizzas. If you want a desert to top that off there is a Forbidden Flavours booth also to the South East corner that serves ice cream and coffee. Now to my favorite booths, the beer booths. There are 2 beer vendors on the East and West sides that serve smaller cups of Bud Light, Kokanee, Molson Canadian, Budweiser, etc. There is another beer vendor in the South West corner that serves larger cups of either Bud Light or Kokanee, along with mixed drinks such as Rye, Rum etc. Make sure you finish your drink before leaving the building or going into the concourse because you can't take it with you. Of course like another other arena everything is overpriced. 50/50 tickets can be bought at booths around the arena, there are also people that walk around during the intermission that sell them (just look for the people wearing gold Wheat King jerseys).

Smoking :

The arena is a non-smoking facility. You can smoke outside any of the main exits located to the East, South and West.

Hotel/Accomodations :

The CanadInns is the best bet because it is located right inside the Keystone Centre complex.

Not to mention many fast food restaurants, pizza places, local restaurants.

After Hours Entertainment :

-The Tavern which is located in the main lobby of the Canad Inns, really good appetizers and good selection of drinks. It is usually very busy after games.
-The Key Rock (strip club across the street from the main entrance to the Canad Inns)
-Montana's Lounge is further away past the 18th street bridge but after every game they serve $5 appetizers.
-Boston Pizza lounge
-Smitty's Lounge
-There is a beer vendor right across the street from the Canad Inns entrance

The Visiting Team :

Attacks the North side of the arena (Sections 1-8, including the viewing lounge) during the 1st and 3rd periods. Attacks the South side of the arena (Sections 9-22) during the 2nd period.

Oh, and the beer at South West corner now serves Kokanee again instead of Keiths! yay!

Also, perhaps you should add this so everyone can check out our organizations history! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandon_Wheat_Kings

Very nice write up, don't forget the Key Rock for after game entertainment if you catch my drift!

Don't forget to add the Tavern to the list. Anyone visiting I highly suggest staying at Canad Inn, its connected directly to the arena. Literally a two minute walk from the elevators to the box office/arena. Don't even have to step out doors! :D

Thanks for the additions, and good to hear about the Kokanee.

Also worth noting:

The Canad Inns(hotel attached to the Keystone) has a Prime Rib Buffet every game night, for I think its $12.25. It is NOT all you can eat, but I would eat it over the Kegs any day of the week. You can park in the lot by the hotel, go in for supper and there is a walk way over to the Keystone.

Remingtons Seafood & Steakhouse(located downtown someplace) has Happy Hour all night and free snacks from 5-7-ish on Friday nights.

You probably will not be able to get into the Tavern after the game unless you leave the game early, and even then it is tough.

also worth noting, 3 sections to the left and right of both benches have REALLY low glass so if you are taking kids, or a girlfriend/significant other who is only going because you had to buy her a ticket so she could go and not watch the game(not a sore subject really) maybe avoid the rows from about D - O because pucks come flying in there pretty frequently.

I gave up with my girlfriend, she always asks to go to the games with me. I always say it's time to hang out with the boys, lol.

All just dating the wrong girls. There are plenty of us out there that not only enjoy the game but understand it and actually watch it. It isn't a social experiment for all of us!!!! :p
