Game 2-Canes 1 at Hitmen 2

The Canes and Hitmen get back into the swing of things this afternoon at the Saddledome. The Canes really need this game, another loss here and the Canes have a huge hill to climb. Even if they don't win, the Canes need to play a better game. They were dominated in every area of the game on Friday night. The Hitmen really just need to play the same game, an up tempo, hard hitting game, and limit the Canes to little or no opportunities. The game is on the radio this afternoon starting with a pregame shows that starts at 12 Calgary time.

Prediction: 5-2 Hitmen.

Well a much closer game at the Dome today. The Hitmen controlled the play for the first 2 periods but Metsola made some good saves including 2 very good glove saves. In the 3rd, the Canes played their best period of the series but couldn't muster very many good chances on Marty Jones. Hitmen up 2-0 but at least we should have much closer games for the rest of the series, the next 3 games are all in the Bridge.
