Clark to Take Over Cougars
The WHL's Prince George Cougars will hold a news conference this afternoon to unveil Dean Clark as their new head coach.
The Cougars will be the fourth WHL team Clark will be behind the bench for after previous stints in Calgary, Brandon and Kamloops.
Clark holds a 382-253-61 career record over 12 seasons of coaching in the WHL including an 86-40-18 record in two season with Brandon in 2001-2002 and 2002-2003.
Clark, who has been out of the WHL since being let go as Kamloops' GM/Coach in November of 2007, will take over behind the bench for Wade Klippenstein
Klippenstein is expected to remain with the team as an assistant coach and assistant general manager.
He had been interim head coach of the Cougars for the final 43 games of last season after the club relieved Drew Schoeneck of his duties on December 1st.
